3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid supply and transition to generic variants of FK-5-1-12

Jactone confirm that it has re-certified its LPS 1666 PAFSS systems to allow for filling with either 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid or FK-5-1-12

Further to the announcement by 3M in December 2022 of their intention to cease manufacture of 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid by the end of 2025, Jactone can confirm that it has now re-certified its LPS 1666 PAFSS systems to allow for filling with either 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid while still available or a generic variant, FK-5-1-12, without any compromise on system performance.

All generic FK-5-1-12 that Jactone uses will be appropriately 3rd Party UL/FM certified in accordance with the requirements of our updated LPS 1666 certification.
