Part of our UK manufactured Marine Range, the 6 litre Wet Chemical fire extinguisher is specially approved to Merchant Shipping (Marine Equipment) Regulations SI 2016/1025 as amended and carries the UK Mark of Conformity – The Red Ensign, meaning you can be sure it meets the safety at sea requirements and can be used on offshore environments. The extinguisher is also LPCB certified to BS EN3, UKCA and CE marked.
The stored pressure wet chemical fire extinguisher is specifically designed for use on Class F fires (cooking oil and fats) involving cooking appliances containing oil up to 75 litres capacity. They are also suitable for use on Class A fires (wood, paper, textiles). Wet chemical is the ideal commercial and industrial kitchen fire extinguisher. The 6 litre Wet Chemical fire extinguisher is available in two models, a lance assembly (EWCS6MED) and a hose assembly (EWCS6HMED).
As part of our marine Range, the 6 litre Wet Chemical fire extinguisher comes with Jactone’s distinctive colour coded header label, handle and base which ensure that the extinguisher is identifiable from any angle. This can provide valuable and critical time when helping to evacuate a building or extinguish a small fire, if safe to do so.
