Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers
A Carbon Dioxide (CO2) fire extinguisher is suitable for use on Class B and electrical fires. Primarily for use on fires of electrical origin, a CO2 fire extinguisher is particularly suitable for offices where there is a lot of electrical office equipment such as computers, printers and copiers. CO2 leaves no residue after use and will not harm machinery or electrical equipment. They are also suitable for use on Class B flammable liquid fires such as those involving petrol, diesel and paint. A CO2 fire extinguisher is identified by its black colour coding.
